When the “no-makeup” natural look requires cosmetics

This struck me as odd, if somewhat predictable —

Harper’s Bazaar published a photo shoot with Lady Gaga last week, shot without any of her usual wild ornamentation (wigs/hats/makeup/glitter etc), but check out the caption for slide 2 of the slideshow:

To get Lady Gaga’s no-makeup look, try Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation ($29.15), Prep + Prime Highlighter ($23), Brow Gel ($15) and Prep + Prime Lash ($15).

Huh? How does that work? Spend $62.15 on makeup to get a “no-makeup look”?
